Recount!!!!!!

Here is a great recount I wrote.

It had started off like any normal day that month, but now that I think of it dad seemed more stressed and mum was not home that night, that very next morning dad had to drop me off to grandad nonos house it was boring there so I just sat on a box while grandad mowed the lawn. I remember seeing a picture of grandad and dad playing with a bright red wagon just like the one that I used to stack boxes onto so I could stand on them to get the picture the wagon moved right from under my feet and out fell a helmet.

Then I heard the lawn mower stop and grandad come stomping into the house with a helmet in his hand. I know he would have been so mad if he had run it over with the lawnmower. Then grandad asked do you want to take the wan for a spin and I said defiantly, so we did I put on the helmet and made sure I had my arms and leg in the wagon and off we went, all of a sudden monkeys started to chase us and then we were in a jungle.

Then grandad started to run faster and faster then he jumped over me and into the back of the wagon within minutes we were over the side of a cliffed and were falling into stream with our wagon I thought that we were going to drown but the wagon soon turned into a boat and we were floating past hundreds of crocodiles then my teddy pointed at the end of the stream that was flowing down a waterfall.

Just then we dropped down down down until I felt the bottom of the sea floor then we rose and we were in a plane we were 300 hundred meters in the sky then the plane ran out of fuel we had to jump so I jumped and I pulled the parachute and fell softly to the ground were me and Grandad had something to eat.

Just then something green zapped the swing a few meters away from us then we jumped into our space suits and got in our hovercraft I pulled out me zapper and started to shot down the ufos and all of a sudden there was the biggest of them all so I grabbed out my ultra heat ray and then two big light shone in our eyes and woke me from the fight I saw I was holding a hose and dad got out the car. I said that this was the best day of my life to dad and asked for a week with grandad.

Build-it

In 2016 we never even thought about running a building program, it used to be a very small thing for our school it has grown from only a few things to build with too so many things like tyers oil barrels rope and crates and lots more. There used to be a teacher watching us play if there were no teacher available we could not play, then me and my friends stepped up and took on the role and now we have build-it cards  and reward for the kids, now you might be thinking what build-it is a place where you can build lots of thing in your break times. Here are some pictures of build-it.

My speech

Here is my speech about Racial discrimination I would like some                              feedback about what you think.

A pleasant afternoon to all of you, Thank you for coming please have a seat and get comfy. Imagine living every day in New Zealand knowing that everywhere you go, everything you do is being observed and judged. Imagine walking into a convenience store or a clothing boutique and having someone watch your every movement thinking that you’re going to steal an item, or reveal a bomb from under your clothes. Imagine being mocked and ostracized at school because you're "different".

No one likes to be left out, but then, why do you judge? Why do you pass the torch of the unforgiving world? Why do you set a fire of hatred? Why do you discriminate? Everywhere you go, everywhere you look, there is always somebody different. Many of us focus on differences and not on similarities of other people.

Racial discrimination is everywhere. In general, it is a belief that a particular race or ethnicity is inferior or superior to others. Racial discrimination involves an act where a person is treated unfairly or vilified because of their race, color, descent, national or ethnic origin, religion or belief.

The first major point I have is that all people are created equal. In all holy books, it is mentioned that all people are created equal, so who are we to judge? The belief that everyone
is created equally seems to not resist anymore.

That’s why I am here before you to make you understand that racial discrimination is an immoral act. Racial discrimination is experienced across a spectrum.

It may occur in a passive way by excluding people socially or by being indifferent to their views and experiences. It may take the form of prejudice and stereotype of different groups in our community; in name calling, taunting or insults; or in actively and directly excluding or discriminating against people from services on opportunities. In its most serious manifestation, racial discrimination is demonstrated in behaviors and activities that embody hate, abuse, and violence.

Particularly experienced by groups who are visibly different as a result of their cultural or religious dress, their skin color or their physical appearance. For centuries, the issue of racial discrimination has been haunting millions of people worldwide.

Almost Everywhere you turn; you see some form of discrimination. Research shows that its effect is greater on people that care about doing well. They also must be put into a situation where their skills or abilities might be in question, either in school, at work or in public places. Being discriminated against can change someone
one's whole world.

Emotional trauma and mental health effects from discrimination and stereotyping result in the most significant harm to an individual. There are other damages, such as loss of the job or promotional opportunities, loss of pay for days not worked, and damage to reputation. The people that discriminate or stereotype usually choose scapegoats on whom to take out their frustration and aggression.

They choose those who are seen as weaker or inferior to themselves. Alarmingly, some research indicates a significant increase in racial discrimination
over recent years. It’s time for us to make a way. We can start by joining organizations and promoting positive relations. But There is a challenge in this for all of us. We share a common humanity, and we all have a role in respecting the right of all to enjoy it equally, with dignity and with the same opportunities to thrive. Thank you for listening and good day everyone.

My awesome newspaper.

Gigantic fluff ball spotted outside Y.M.S

Three unknown Gigantic fluff balls were found outside Yaldhurst Model School on Monday 29/3/18. They got out of somebody's house because some person broke into the house and they got scared. Help save YMS school become safe.

Yaldhurst school students are trapped inside their classrooms, scared and bored they have to be very quiet and not to move too much. All they can see is gigantic fluffy balls bouncing and running around growling, The brave teachers have tried to call police, sheriffs and wildlife catchers but they won't pick up the phone. They are trapped inside the classrooms, they need help to get out.

The gigantic fluff balls are now scratching at windows, doors, and walls they want in, but they can’t get in.  Yet all the students want to go home but they ca n’t, the teachers say that it is too risky, they could get killed! Next minute, a small hole in the wall forms and soon it was 30 cm wide! It got bigger and bigger then miss Taylor got a big bag of instant cement and poured it in the hole. A crack in the window started to appear then an alarm went off and there were bars coming down over the windows, metal over the walls and giant locks on all the doors and meat guns around all the edges of the roof. It was pretty cool!

If this should happen again to any member of the public “they should not approach the fluffy beasts, instead call 028 wildlife and stay calm, stay quiet” said Nikoli. You decide what is going to happen to all the students next. 1. Do the wildlife catcher turn up or
2.will all the student get cuteafafied and then find out that it was just cute kittens.

My non chronological report

For the past two weeks our class has been learning about non chronological report.
I learnt what a non chronological report was.I found writing lots of fake fact on my other report.
Compared from the start I have Improved my factual language and paragraphing.

The indicator shoes

This report is to inform you about the Indicator shoe. This shoe is made for safety on the sidewalks. The company named Nikoli stainger in 2011 sent 6 pairs of shoes to people and got the to try them. They agreed to try them for 6 months.

Style: I named it the indicator shoe because whatever way you point your foot the arrows at the back point in that direction. I think that this shoe is special because, no one has made a shoe like the one I have just completed. This shoe is important because it tells people what way you are going  plus it is eco friendly which I think is really important.

Materials: The shoe is made out of Bamboo, sheeps wool, plastic and light which is all is recycled at a recycling dump. This is important to the shoes design because it is kinder on the environment and will not kill plants. The bamboo sides on the shoe are important because it keeps out the water which keeps the buyers feet dry. The sheeps wool inner sole will keep all feet comfortable and warm. The plastic cover over the lights to keep them dry.

Price: This shoe will be in shops all around the world it will be sold for $45.At this price people will want to buy this shoe price because it is cheaper and safer than other shoes.

98% of people love the shoe.
The  indicator shoe can be summed up in one word safe.
