- Compare the wharepuni to your own home. Whatare two similarities and to differences brtween a wharepuni and your house?
My house has a roof like the wharepuni, both triangler and we have bitchuman tiles instead of thatching. My house also has walls like the wharepuni, our top level doesnt have normal walls its walls are also its roof.
The wharepuni does not have individual rooms like we have, we have a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, lounge and sleeping room all in one building.

ReplyDeleteWow, I thought it was very interesting to see the picture of your house compared to the traditional wharepuni. You're right, they do look similar! I have not seen a house like yours before, what a cool shape.
What do you think it would be like to live in a wharepuni compared to a modern house? Which do you think that you would prefer? I think I would prefer to live in a house because I like having my own space, rather than sharing a bedroom with lots of people.
